The first Saturday of the month we have our Sutton Velo Social Group ride. We ride as fast as the slowest person.
For our planned group rides check out our Ride Calendar where you will also find details on how to sign up.
We have a number of favourite routes, all centred around a coffee and cake stop! The routes and pace of the ride mean we all arrive at the same coffee stop at approximately the same time, allowing everyone to catch up with other club members at the stop regardless of ability.

Each route has two distances.
Long – 85km (ish), more hills and at a usual pace of about 25-27kms / 15-17 miles per hour (moving time average)
Not-so-long – 65km (ish), fewer hills and at a usual pace of about 23-25kms / 14-15 miles per hour
Riders choose one of the two distances; all rides are non-drop and we want to accommodate everyone. Please read the Sutton Velo Ride Etiquette
We rely on riders selecting the correct group for their fitness level, but if you are unsure please talk to one of the team who will help direct you.
Social Rides are open to all Members and Non-Members, click here for membership details. We also have a programme of rides exclusively for members where we push the distance.
If you would like to join us for a group ride please contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
